Welcome! I am an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen. My research interests are international relations, including both international security and international relations theory, as well as Chinese foreign and security policy.

I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen. I have a strong research background in the field of East Asia, and have a rich fieldwork experience gained in two years’ residence in Beijing during the Ph.D. I have fluency in Mandarin Chinese and have held Fellowships both at Harvard University, Beijing University and at Tsinghua University. My book Chinese Energy Companies in Africa was published in 2020.
